La La Anthony on the Importance of Sex in a Relationship

La La Anthony is a busy woman. She's promoting her new films Baggage Claim and Think Like a Man, Too and her cosmetics line with Motives as well as being a mother to a 6-year-old, but the actress still makes time to cuddle up with her husband, Carmelo Anthony. During a visit to Bethenny Frankel's talk show, Anthony opened up about the value of sex in a relationship and why she doesn't fret when her hubby is on the road and surrounded by groupies.

"I'm just very secure in myself. I cant worry about what's happening on the road. I know our relationship. I know we have a great relationship. He's my best friend and that's what I put my energy on," she said. "If we think too much about what's going on when we are not there and checking phones and cracking email codes, that will drive a woman crazy. You have to be secure in yourself and hope that's the best."

Perhaps one way of making sure her New York Knicks star doesn't stray is by making sure he's satisfied at home. Anthony said that while having an emotional connection is important in a relationship, she loves sex and finds it to be an integral part of that connection.

"I think they are definitely related if you guys are compatible on an emotional level you guys will just be magnetic and great," she explained. "One thing with sex with me is, I'm not into scheduling sex now. I am just not into that. I don't think that's sexy. I like being spontaneous and things just happen and you're like wooaaa."
