The whole world was shocked and left in cold tears to the death of pop legend Whitney Houston following a deadly mix of cocaine and drugs in her blood on 11 February 2012 in a bathtub. She died at the age of 48. With songs like "I wanna dance with somebody," my favorite "I'm saving all my love for you" and the Olympic anthem "One moment in time." Yesterday August 9,2013, the soul diva would have been 50 years. Fans and colleagues of Whitney will play her songs and host concert this weekend on behalf of the music legend.

Whitney Houston was born August 9, 1963 in Newark. Her mother Cissy Houston sang in the choir in the background Elvis Presley, her cousins Dionne Warwick and Dee Dee were Soul Stars, Aretha Franklin was her godfather aunt. Age 14 Whitney had her first recording.
